It is with great saddeness to all whom knew Tim Flaherty that I must disclosed that he passed away many years ago in Tucson, AZ. Tim served his country overseas in the US Navy for several years, and left the service in the 80's to return to Tucson. He was a good person and friend, and to us who really knew him a man with a unbelievdable kind heart. May he rest in peace until it is time for the father to call us all home, when we will all meet again. -Keith Clark

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Tim was such a funny guy. He made me laugh every time I saw him. His corny perspective on everything made me seek him out for a great laugh. I will never forget him.I have a story that I am not sure is appropriate for this venue but I am going to take my chances anyways.
One day we sat next each other in class. Class ended and as we were collecting our stuff and getting ready to leave Tim started talking about something. I was only half listening to him because I was thinking about my next class. I think the class we were leaving must have been a health class of some sort and I think we were discussing risky behaviors just before the bell rang. He said something about..."yea those kids better watch it or they will get a 'veenie'-real disease. I thought about that cryptic saying for about two seconds and responded "...what's a veenie?" I thought I was going to have to pick him up off the floor. I actually got a little concerned because he was laughing so hard he could hardly catch his breath.
Remembering him will always put a smile on my face. I am very sorry I did not get to see him before he passed.
