Welcome to the Sunnyside High Class of 1979 website! The Reunion Dinner/Dance came and went on Saturday, 10/24/2009, and was a HIT!! You can still sign onto this website to see photos of the reunion (once posted!) and to keep in touch with classmates.
Please find your name under "Classmate Profiles" and click on it to join the site and enter your profile information. You can even upload photos to share with everyone!
Nice job to the following who put so much effort into making this a memorable reunion: PAUL LEE (for all his hard work with the emceeing, slide show, techno stuff on the website, and photoframing all of the pics of our deceased classmates), DAVID ARAIZA (for his non-stop DJ music show and funny remarks throughout), PATTI (LONGORIA) SANTINO (for her hard work planning this and coordinating the ads in the newspaper and on the radio and getting lots of raffle prizes), EDNA ARAGON MORRIS (for doing up all the award/certificates and getting so many door prizes and gag gifts), ANGELA SOTO and an anonymous donor (for the videotaping of the entire reunion and Angie for posting the ads in the newspaper), SAGRARIO ESPINOZA (for contributing lots of door prizes including the glassware and tiles and those DELICIOUS cakes she baked herself!), RICHARD GIL (for all of his moral and financial support throughout the planning), JIM HIGHTOWER (for doing an awesome job emailing and getting folks to log onto the website and sign up to attend), JOSE OJEDA (for his ideas from the get-go on things to do at the reunion and spread the word), FRANK STEWART (Luna) (for the radio announcements of the reunion), and RAQUEL ARELLANO (for helping to plan this, obtain sweatshirts, and contribute toward the floral bouquet for our deceased classmates).
Let's go Blue Devils!
